Red Weave Furniture
A bespoke commission for a desk and a display cabinet designed using the red weave pattern and fumed oak. The desk features a number of hidden and secrete drawers positioned all around the inlaid edge. The cabinet doors are formed over fabric to give an undulating surface that reflects the light in an unusual way.
Desk - 150cm wide x 60cm deep x 75cm high
Cabinet - 200cm wide x 35cm deep x 230cm high
Materials - fumed oak solid and veneer, hand-dyed sycamore veneer.
