Enjoy a day learning marquetry skills and creating your own decorative piece of marquetry art with Kevin Stamper.
The art of marquetry uses knives and handsaws to cut and arrange thin pieces of wood into a design to decorate a panel or wooden box.
Kevin has a wealth of experience and knowledge to help you create your marquetry design having used both traditional and contemporary marquetry techniques on his own work for many years. He loves to show complete beginners how to get started in this fascinating craft with just a few simple hand tools. Classes are also available for those who wish to develop their skills further.
All courses take place in Kevin’s fully equipped workshop in Malvern, Worcestershire. No previous experience is needed and all the materials and tools are supplied.
Course numbers are limited to 7 people and attendees should be over the age of 18. Refreshments and lunch are provided.
Three marquetry classes are available:
Beginner knife cut marquetry
