Mixed Weave Casket

A casket style box with an intricate ‘weave’ pattern across the top and down the sides. The pattern is made up of thin strips of hand-dyed sycamore veneer and fumed oak veneer creating a vibrant, colourful pattern against the rich darkness of the fumed oak. The box contains a lift-out storage tray for smaller items such as cuff links, rings or ear rings above a segmented section complete with soft faux suede pillows to safely hold watches or bracelets.
Hidden brass Zysa or barrel hinges
Internal divisions in solid fumed oak
Box made in solid fumed oak and fumed oak veneer
Base and inside of lid lined with yellow soft faux suede fabric
Finished in hard wearing acrylic lacquer with an ultraviolet filter to help prevent the colours fading in sunlight.
