Estuary Islands

The Beaulieu River runs through the heart of the New Forest National Park and broadens out into a wide estuary as it reaches the ancient village of Bucklers Hard.  At high tide, the estuary creates green islands of the grazing land and meanders around them as it flows to the horizon.  The scene was a picture of vivid blues and greens, with the evening sun still bright on the horizon after a glorious summer’s day.
