Unique and Beautiful Handmade boxes and Trays
Made by Kevin Stamper in his own workshop nestling in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. Kevin has perfected the art of through dying veneers, or thin layers of wood, so that he can use a unique pallet of colours in his marquetry designs. These colours are not available anywhere else and are only used exclusively on his work.
Each box or tray is designed and made by Kevin himself using both traditional and contemporary woodworking techniques. He specialises in creating abstract marquetry designs which combine natural wood tones with brightly coloured veneers.

Kevin has run his own bespoke craft workshop since 1992 and has a wealth of experience in woodworking techniques, marquetry and parquetry. In addition to making his own work, he also runs classes teaching the basic principles of marquetry to groups of students, or on an individual one-to-one basis.
You can buy boxes and trays directly from the shop on this website, or by visiting one of the many shops and galleries that stock his work. Kevin’s work is collected by many people in many countries and his small boxes make perfect presents for birthdays, christenings and Christmas.
